For the trail horse riding enthusiast in all of us, I suggest you check out the Knott County Fall Trail Ride this Oct. 4 – 6, 2018.
My owners enjoyed spending time in the saddle during the Knott County Spring Trail ride this past May.
Unfortunately I didn’t get to go with them. However, the beautiful Kentucky hillside provided the perfect backdrop for days of trail riding with my other pasture buddies - Tennessee Walker (Annie) and Standardbreds (Journey and Ruff).
If you are looking for adventure the Knott County Fall Trail Ride allows you to ride on top of the mountain or go down in the valley through creeks and streams with 43,000 acres to explore plus 150 miles of trails.
Join thousands of avid equestrians for three nights of live entertainment, horse related vendors, tasty food trucks and hundreds and hundreds of beautiful horses. Entrance fee is only $25 per person, children 12 & under is free admission. Don’t forget to bring your current Coggins and health papers.
Primitive camping is available so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, spending time with family and friends and of course your horse buddies. Saddle up and enjoy the ride - Hope to see you at the Knott County Fall Trail Ride.
